Scott Smith

Head of Global Operations

Scott leads operations for Western Union Business Solutions.

As Head of Global Operations, his mission is to ensure the company’s processes and people are aligned to exceed the expectations of our customers.

Scott brings more than 20 years of experience in the financial industry and a deep understanding of payments, banking, auditing, risk management and financial modeling services.

He has been with Western Union since 2006, starting out as Director, Internal Audit before becoming Vice-President, Payment Processing and Branch Operations for the Custom House division. Prior to this, he was Director, Affiliate Audit at Showtime Networks and a senior auditor at Arthur Anderson.

Scott currently resides in the Denver area. He holds a Bachelor of Science, Accounting from Colorado State University.
